Soothe Headaches
Child pose, or Balasana, is a great stretch that benefits your entire body, and is widely accessible.
Assume the position on your knees, slowly crawling fingertips out until you rest in a forward fold to gently stretch your lower back, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles. Modify here by playing with arm placement and widening the distance between knees on the floor while keeping big toes touching to melt deeper into the stretch.
Especially effective for reducing headaches, this posture also increases blood circulation to your head, massages your inner organs, and is proven to set your central nervous system at ease to calm stress and tension.
