The post that appears to have sparked this recent probe into Oberg was shared on the Instagram account of Sporty & Rich Wellness Club, the brand's wellness blog, last week. The now-deleted post featured a price comparison of "healthy" and "unhealthy" foods, captioned with a corresponding blog post by Oberg titled "You Don't Need to be Rich to be Healthy." In addition to pointing out how ridiculous it was to compare a Happy Meal to a bag of lettuce, followers were quick to criticize the privilege behind it, and the ignorance of the existence of "food deserts," low-income areas that don't actually have access to fresh, quality food options.
Oberg also shared the post on her own stories, saying, "Stop making excuses!! Being healthy isn't just for the privileged!"
