Bryant Park
This summer, head on over to
Bryant Park for the HBO Film Festival. Every Monday night, catch a classic
film on their huge 20 by 40 foot screen with your date.
Insider's Tip: Get there early! This film festival is one of the most popular and widely attended in the city. The lawn opens at 5, but people usually start lining up around 3:30 to get a good spot.
Also, HBO usually hosts guest speakers right before their viewings. Last year Director Milos Forman spoke to the audience before his 1975 film "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" began. And don't be surprised if a few celebrities show up as well.
