Every summer, Central Park hosts its film festival in August. This summer, the festival runs from August 22nd-26th. Enter the park at the 72nd entrance to the Rumsey Playfield. Spaces fill up quick, so try to get there before the gates open at 6:30, and the films begin at 8 pm.
Insider's Tip: This year, a different movie genre will be featured each night. Take your date to their "romantic comedy" night if you want to get really sappy.
