The Frying Pan
No drinking-by-the-water list would be complete without every New Yorker's go-to spot: the Frying Pan. Housed on an old ship-turned-bar, The Frying Pan is packed from the day it opens (officially opens April 27th, but according to their
Twitter they'll be open today) through the end of summer, and the line to get in often snakes down the pier. But it's well worth the wait-- nothing quite says summer like drinking a beer on a boat.
