Bohemian
Bohemian is probably one of the hardest restaurants to get a reservation at in New York City. That is because they do not have a published phone number anywhere. Now you might say, “Well the Waverly Inn did the same thing” but at least they had an email address that was published. While Bohemian does have an email, it is useless when trying to obtain one of the 24 seats in their restaurant. The way to get the number is through someone who has been there before. This ensures that Bohemian remains kind of like a private club. But once you do get those secret 10 digits (we’ll help you out, the first three are 212) you will walk past the Japanese butcher shop and hit the buzzer. When you enter through the glass door you will enter into a small yet simple and elegant Japanese restaurant with good food and even better cocktails.
