Steve Schneider is a principle bartender and bar manager of the famed West Village bar Employees Only. The New Jersey native has been bartending since a near-death injury ended his career as a Marine. he has gone on to win international competitions and land a starring role in the upcoming "
Hey Bartender" documentary (June 7th).
"The only trends I care about is what people want. I serve the people. But what I think is in fashion is spice cocktails. They have a unique ability to warm in the winter, but also cool in the summertime. Habenro, chipotle , you name it, depending on what youre looking for. if you want smoked, then you want chipotle, if you want super spicy, then you wan habenero, and if you want that green vegetable flavor, you might get jalapeno. They're asking for spicy cocktails all the time, so we have to deliver."

-3/4oz pineapple juice
-1/2oz lime juice
-1oz pineapple honey syrup
-3 dashes of bitterman's hellfire bitters (habenero)
-garnish with ground pink peppercorn
