Getting a seat at one of the communal tables of
Mario Batali's
Bar Jamon is as hard as getting a spot at his restaurant Casa Mono next door. Reservations at this tapas wine bar are nonexistent, and the space is relatively small and intimate.
Once you find a seat, the three different selections of Jamon meat, and the cheese options, are spot on. The affordable, authentic Spanish tapas are fantastic across the board, highlighted by the duck liver with apricots.
