Bar Boulud
Less intimidating than his other restaurants, Bar Boulud is more casual, with high stools and communal tables. The design, a cellar shaped ceiling, is that exact look and feel a good wine bar should have. Located near Lincoln Center, Bar Boulud is still upscale compared to most wine bars. Pates, coq au vin, and escargot highlight the Lyon-inspired menu.
The wine cellar has over a thousand different selections, with 23 offered by the glass. The cellar is focused on the Burgundy and Rhone regions, and are chosen by a James Beard Award-winning wine director, making this the place for an all-out wine night.
