This East Village fish shack is a nice getaway in the city for those in need of a little escape. The restaurant has a New England sea side feel to it, with a cozy dining area in front and a quieter garden in the back. The happy hour offers oysters and clams from the raw bar for under $1 as well as light fishy snacks including mini fish tacos and shrimp & avocado sliders.
Shell out? The shack is more than just an oyster haven, but a seaside escape for New Yorkers stuck in the city during the week.
