La Esquina
Rounding out the list of Kenmare Street nightlife spots is
La Esquina, a perennial favorite in Downtown Manhattan. The sidewalk cafe is the perfect place to get a quick torta, but the restaurant is also a great place to sit down and enjoy the array of Mexican dishes. Much of the publicity has come from the basement lounge, though, which doesn't allow photography and was shrouded in mystery for years. The reservation-only lounge offers an assortment of tequila as well as food, making it the perfect spot for a dinner party or a date.
