Live Music Is Back At The New Orleans-Inspired Canary Club

by Stephanie Maida · April 15, 2021

Looking to take your date night up a notch? Well, you can never go wrong with some sultry tunes and strong sips.

Live music has finally returned at Canary Club, the Lower East Side hot spot inspired by the sounds and flavors of New Orleans. The space, which debuted in fall 2019, boasts swanky vintage interiors, an upstairs bar, a private dining room, and, most notably, a subterranean music lounge that will take you back to the atmospheric jazz clubs of the past.

The bi-level destination suspended their music programming for months due to the city's last ban on indoor dining, but it's now welcoming back guests and performers for weekends filled with jazz, soul, funk, and more.

Reservations for the Live Music Club include two hours of entertainment along with full food and beverage service, with seatings at 7 pm and 9 pm, Thursday through Saturday.

As for impressing your date on the dining front? Canary Club just revamped its Americana-meets-French Creole menu along with its seasonal selection of inventive cocktails. Split some wood oven roasted oysters and NOLA BBQ shrimp and wash it down with a Dada Mezcal or an old school Sazerac.

Limited seating is available so reserve your spot ASAP on Resy!
