8. Alternative to Brooklyn Bowl
Brooklyn Bowl opened and reinvented how we see bowling. It's no longer a kid's 9th birthday party with blacklights and shitty pizza. This bar, music venue, and bowling alley became a mecca for Williamsburg hipsters with trust funds and new Supreme caps. If you are going to go all the way to Brooklyn why not make a detour towards Queens and head to Whitestone Lanes? It's open 24 hours and offers an "all you can bowl" special on the weekend for just $20. It's like a casino without the gambling. Given it's less glitzy than Brooklyn Bowl, the spot is even cooler. Run down, hidden and unknown. You hipster, you.
