Beatniks begone, the modern iteration of the famous San Remo Cafe does not quite do the plebeian scene. A locale once loved by Jack Kerouac has been reborn as a high-profile haven for people who know people - and models, of course. During the day, the cafe is an airy, Instagrammable coffee shop, but come nighttime you'll be lucky if you get to enter the lush back room, where a table tab minimum is $5000.
