What: Entering the NYC nightlife scene with a new bar is not an easy task, but veteran mixologist Giuseppe Gonzalez already has a winner with his new Suffolk Arms. The immediate success isn't surprising: the bar is located on Houston Street, positioned perfectly for the hordes that descend on the LES every weekend. However, the vibe is unlike most of its neighbors, opting for an old-school NYC pub look that is more akin to classic midtown bars. Finally, the drinks are excellent, highlighted by unique riffs on classic cocktails featuring uncommon ingredients.
