Campbell Apartment
Further uptown, tucked into Grand Central Station, the former office of the Gilded Age tycoon John W. Campbell has been restored to a lounge that is offering up Prohibition Punches and Kentucky Gingers that take the edge off a long work day. Inside the
Campbell Apartment, the flawless remembrance of the days of Hemingway and Fitzgerald is a virtual time capsule, complete with a monolithic safe, fireplace, and hand-painted ceilings. Later this week, in honor of the
Grand Central Centennial Celebration, the Campbell Apartment will be starting the celebration by serving Centennial Punch, a cocktail reminiscent of those punches served at the station's opening one hundred years ago.
