The Dead Rabbit
One of most acclaimed bars of the year was The Dead Rabbit, a multi-level "saloon" in FiDi that made a splash when it opened with a cocktail bar boasting over 70 drinks on the menu. There's also a beer and whiskey pub, as well as a third floor space that can be used for private parties, but the cocktail lounge is the reason The Dead Rabbit has been dubbed the Best New Cocktail Bar in the World. The founders, who's Irish roots are visible throughout, keep the place democratic: no velvet ropes or guest lists to keep people away. However, guests have been known to travel great distances to imbibe at the old-school bar, so expect it to get filled up fast.
