Eddie Dean, Owner of Schimanski

Things will be different for sure but this is NYC and anyone who has been around knows that it’s always been hard. We are always having to adapt so as much as things will be different, it will be fine. Personally I’m very bullish. My feeling has been that as soon as we start opening, things will come back pretty fast. Faster than most expect. Hopefully for the bars and clubs, we can be open by summer. Short of 75% just won’t be economically possible. The model, much like Broadway, is the economics are based on sellout or full capacity, so we have some time to go. It’s likely many bars, pubs and clubs that closed may never reopen. This is sad. But if you managed to survive I think it could be a real good run.
