Quarantine speakeasies

In another report, The Post also pointed to an Upper East Side bar and lounge, as well as a popular downtown hotel, for hosting "speakeasy-style" parties for close friends of managers. Clavarino's article claims that a trendy East Village restaurant, ostensibly open for takeout, hosts regulars in the basement, "30 or 40 people, friends of friends... They just switch nights every week. If the police come, everyone just says they’re there to pick up their to-go order."

In Soho, a restaurant secretly serves up diners sitting inside before turning up the music and allowing attendees to break out the blow. Yikes.
