How many martinis are too many martinis?
If we're talking espresso, I think we can all agree on five. A classic gin? We can usually make it two, maybe three if there's a burger involved.
But seven? Well, only if we're hitting TAO Uptown for Happy Hour.
Whatever your threshold is for everyone's favorite cocktail-of-the-moment, the swanky eatery is making it easy to sip your way through a variety of 'tinis, from the sweet to the salty to, yes, even the espresso-y, with its new tiny martini flights. Tiny, of course, being the operative word here - downsized glasses means downsized chances of a hangover!
Tuesdays through Fridays, from 5 pm to 7 pm, you can indulge in a flight of mini martinis for just $15! Take your pick of three out of seven different martini offerings, including Dirty, Classic Gin, Lychee, Apple, Espresso, Tea, and TAO's signature "Taotini" (made with mango vodka, coconut rum, cranberry, lemon), all served up in adorable 3 oz. glasses. And like, no judgment if you order three rounds to try them all with your crew.
Since you probably shouldn't do even a tiny 'tini tasting on an empty stomach, TAO's weekday Happy Hour also includes plenty of its Asian-inspired bites, like Crispy Chicken Gyoza, Tempura Shrimp Rolls, Roasted Shishito Peppers, and Edamame Hummus for just $7.
Sounds like the perfect after-work situation to us.
