What: Opening nights aren't always the best barometers for a venue, and admittedly we aren't expecting the kind of raucous dance party that Django provided in the midst of fashion week. But that's because it's actually a jazz club, opening at a time when the genre is resurgent and live music is paramount to fans. And for anyone who's been to a jazz night in the recent past, it's a much needed breath of fresh air from the normal nightlife offerings for date nights or just getting drinks with friends. Like the opening night, however, we plan on seeing a bunch of downtown partygoers who always seem to make their way down to the hotel at one point or another.
