Last night, Tasmin Lonsdale's exclusive Supper Club New York christened TriBeCa's Ward III with a variety of rye whiskey cocktails courtesy of (r?)1, a brand of super premium whiskey made by the same company that produces Jim Beam.
Semi-notables in attendance included notorious PR guy Kristian Laliberte with his friend Marisha Pessl, a New York Times best-selling author, as well as Erin Hawker of Diesel. The cool thing about Ward III is that they make "bespoke cocktails," which are custom cocktails based on a particular mood you might be in. Say you want something with blueberry that's refreshing, smooth, and/or nutty -- they'll do it! I think I'm going to go in and try to be even more abstract and ask for something that's captures the essence of nostalgia with overtures of bittersweet memory.
