Who isn't absolutely, completely, hopelessly desperate for an excuse to get dressed up these days?

Next up in our All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go series is Carrie Berk - the bestselling author, actress, and fashion blogging wunderkind! Seriously though, can you believe she's only 17 - she's written 21 books!?!?

Curious how the city girl's doing now that she's traded town for country? Read more below!

    What are you wearing?
A ruffled pink dress with a sweetheart neckline. I was supposed to wear this to my prom, but since it was cancelled, I decided to get glam at home!

I’m wearing lots of small business brands so I can support them during these tough times—a few favorites are Mila & Me  and Brown Dyed Girl. Both do beautiful tie dye sweat sets. Also, I love sustainable eco brands like Pangaia, their flamingo pink sweatshirt is a bright happy shade that makes me smile whenever I wear it. I’m really into bucket hats for going outside in the sun—just ordered a bunch of cute inexpensive tie dyed ones from Seven the Label.

Where are you riding out the storm?
My Hamptons beach house. We’ve had it for seven years but I’ve never spent so much time here or appreciated it so much.

How would you describe your quarantine style?
Comfortable yet chic. Just because your passing time indoors doesn’t mean you can’t stay stylish! I’ve been pairing my loungewear with bold sneakers and accessories to make more of a fashion statement.

What's been making you the happiest lately?
Staying dedicated to fitness (I’ve been going on runs along the beach with my dad) and passing time with my family. We’ve been binge-watching traditional Disney movies like Mulan and Dumbo, and it’s been a blast.

Favorite thing you've watched so far?
Dumbo! I had never seen it before, and it was so sweet, it made me cry.

What's one little luxury of normal life you miss the most?
Going to fun events and brunch with my friends. I can’t wait for the hustle and bustle of NYC to return.

What's the most fabulous thing you've done in quarantine?
I had the opportunity to do an Instagram live with Rebecca Minkoff, who is one of my fashion idols! It was such an honor to chat with her and hear what she’s up to in quarantine as well.
