All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go: Jordan Emanuel

by Christie Grimm · June 9, 2020

Who isn't absolutely, completely, hopelessly desperate for an excuse to get dressed up these days?

Jordan Emanuel has had her fair share of reasons to sport a serious look over the years. Like, she's Playboy's 2019 Playmate of the Year, and Miss Black America New York of 2018, so yeah, she's had some sartorial fun.

These pandemic days, the model / DJ / entrepreneur / feminist advocate (check out her amazing organization Women With Voices!) may be living a bit more of a low key life, but that doesn't mean she can't still bring the glam!

    What are you wearing?
A Keepsake trench coach and Amanda Uprichard pants.

Where are you riding out the storm?
I've been at my Dad's house in Florida. It's amazing what difference fresh air and a yard makes.

What songs have you had on repeat lately?
Kehlani's latest album, 'It Was Good Until It Wasn't' has been on replay, especially the track 'Toxic.'

What's been making you the happiest?
Getting to see my dad everyday, I went to boarding high school so I haven't spent this much quality time since I was 14.

Favorite thing you've watched so far?
I finally watched Insecure and now understand the obsession! High Fidelty on Hulu was also a good find.

What's one little luxury of normal life you miss the most?
    SUSHI!

What's the most fabulous thing you've done in quarantine?
I shot a campaign for Savage x Fenty with just myself, a ringlight and remote.
