It shouldn't exactly come as a surprise that Claire Olshan's birthday bash was an epic affair. After all, the founder of cult favorite boutique Fivestory turned founder of surrealist snack brand Dada Daily is the ultimate maximalist.
Seriously, this party had everything - a dramatic starlit dinner setting, an impeccably designed tablescape, a fashionable crowd, face-sized tins of caviar, oh and a disco-ball-filled dance tent magically nestled in the woods.
Held at Olshan's country home in the Hudson Valley, the 'Disco In The Forest' themed soirée was a joint production of famed event planners Hessney & Co and Bronson van Wyck. Following drinks partygoers sat down for a woodsy feast set in an allée of perfectly manicured trees, featuring mushroom plates, mushroom centerpieces and an assortment of the birthday girl's playful Dada Daily candles. Following the sophisticated scene, the party came alive in a disco-ball lit blush draped tent, where the woman of the day, dressed in a fabulous Giorgio Armani ensemble, danced the night away with family and friends.
