I’ve always loved to bake but never could set aside enough time for it in my pre-Covid life. Lately I’ve been baking every week, tackling recipes like my Nana’s famous Lemon Biscuits, Athena Calderone’s Citrus Olive Oil Cake, and Ina Garten's brownies.
Baking is a science that requires so much technique and patience, I’m really enjoying the process of trying to perfect each recipe. I know I’ve done something right when my husband extends the infamous “Hollywood Handshake,” I’ve received exactly 3 this quarantine.
