Kathy, Paris & Nicky Hilton Share Their Favorite Waldorf Astoria Stories

by Guest of A Guest · January 31, 2022

The original Waldorf Hotel was built at 33rd Street and Fifth Avenue in 1893 by William Waldorf Astor. Four years later, annoyed by his cousin building a hotel right next to his family home, John Jacob Astor IV tore down his brownstone and built an even taller hotel. Eventually, the cousins agreed to put their rivalry behind them and connected their two buildings with a 300 foot marble corridor known as Peacock Alley. Thus, the Waldorf-Astoria was born.

Years later, the New York institution moved to its current location on Park Avenue, where it's now celebrating its 90th anniversary!

To celebrate this milestone, the hotel is calling upon famous guests, visitors and residents to share their most cherished Waldorf Astoria moments. And who better to kick things off than our favorite hotel family - Kathy, Paris and Nicky Hilton?
