Lauren Santo Domingo's Tweet Revealing Ivanka Trump's High School Abortion Caused Quite The Stir

by Guest of A Guest · June 27, 2022

Unless you were living under a rock with no access to social media this weekend, you're well aware of Lauren Santo Domingo's bombshell (though was it really?) tweet.

Obviously, if Lauren Santo Domingo is publicly posting a jaw dropper like this, it's one thousand percent true. No doubt. Girl's just too busy curating edits of what to wear this summer on Moda Operandi and planning parties to save Venice to be making up stories.

Following the 9:43AM tweet on Saturday, it didn't take long for screenshots to make their rounds all over social media, with the story even getting picked up by serious hard-hitting new sites... like Just Jared.

Many applauded the New York society doyenne for her "I-don't-give-a-fuck" bravery, calling the two sentence post "iconic" and "the best Tweet ever."

While we try our best to be respectful of all opinions, the latter simply just isn't true. Lauren's best tweet ever is and always will be that time in 2014 when a totally random girl posted "I want to have @TheLSD's color hair when I grow up/rn it is perfect." To which the blonde society doyenne responded, "It's good to have goals in life."

Sure it may not be as politically powerful, but come on - is that not exactly what you would have wanted her to say!?!

I digress... following all of the social media attention, both supportive and aggressively opposed, Lauren deleted the tweet.

As Lauren's friend Marina Rust implied in her Instagram post, perhaps Lauren removed the tweet after receiving threats from raging Trump lovers.

Certainly the internet can be a scary place. But in reality, her husband's a Colombian billionaire. Like, she's got security - you know?

Our bet is that deleting the tweet was always her plan. A final wink to her former friend. An "I don't even want your dirty name on my page" gesture.

Our evidence? A day later she broke her silence with a simple Instagram Story from the Giacometti Foundation in France. A Mona Lisa smile to remind us all just how fabulous she is, how she's off doing far more interesting things than checking her phone giving a shit what you think, or sitting around concocting social media stunts.

    Girl's good.
