The Family Business

A premier purveyor of the briny pearls, Marky's Caviar was founded in 1980 by Mark Zavlasky, Danielle's grandpa, and his partner, Mark Gelman. Now we know where they got the name from. 

Although her parents aren't involved in the family business, both Danielle and her brother work alongside their grandfather. She helps manage Marky's two New York stores as well as an adjoining fine dining restaurant, HUSO, the swanky caviar "speakeasy" on the Upper East Side.
