Bianca Jagger
Last name sound familiar?
After she married a Rolling Stone, Bianca epitomized 1970s glam as one of the original It Girls. She could be seen throughout the '70s and '80s running in the same circles as Andy Warhol and a crop of other NYC influencers. Like Cornelia Guest, she frequented Studio 54, except she made her entrance on a white horse. She appeared on magazine covers, set trends and made her name independent of her rock star boo. She began a crusade for human rights in the 1970s which has continued through today. In 1972, an earthquake destroyed her native country of Nicaragua, and she began focusing on causes related to the country. She's gone on to crusade for human rights worldwide. She chairs her own foundation dedicated to human rights causes in addition to serving as a Council of Europe Good Will ambassador. Oh, and she's still a style icon, most recently sitting front row at Dior.
