When the Toledo's throw a party, you can count on it being a worthwhile way to spent your evening. This past Tuesday, at the penthouse of Isabel and Ruben Toledo, Glenda Bailey, editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar, and Valerie Steele, director and chief curator of The Museum at FIT hosted a cocktail reception for Isabel on behalf of her Couture Council of The Museum at FIT. We missed out as we were at another party uptown, but Patrick McMullan was there to capture all the fun. And what fun it looked like!

Simon Doonan and Wendy Goodman: Well who doesn't go gaga over paper fans?! These are to die for...great accessories!
Carol Ramer, Joey Arias, and Valerie Steele: I love it when people get playful for the camera. Obligingly willing to strike a pose at the drop of a (teal) hat they were.
Rosemary Ponzo and Cheri Fein: There's way too much going on here, but whatever....wackiness factor is at an all time high, which makes this pair chic.
Eric Javitz and Vera Wang: Because it's not every day that you get to see Ms. Wang fanning herself.
Stephen Knoll and Lisa Malitz: It's an attack of the Purple Gurples!
