Creative Passions
Gloria dabbled in everything from art and acting to fashion modeling and designing. At 17 she appeared in Harper's Bazaar, and was said to be a muse of Richard Avedon. She acted in stage plays and television dramas, and was renowned for her oil paintings, watercolors, and pastels, some of which were adapted into Hallmark Cards. In the 1970s, she launched a clothing line, best known for its tight jeans embroidered with a swan.
