Rory John Gates, the couple's 21-year-old son, mostly stays out of the spotlight. Like his sisters, he attended Seattle's elite Lakeside School, their father's alma mater. Back in 2018, rumors began swirling that he was heading to the University of Chicago when the Gateses reportedly purchased a million-dollar home near campus.
