Amanda Hearst
Amanda Hearst, OG socialite of the aughts era, is one of the more public-facing young scions. Her mother is Anne Hearst, her stepfather is author Jay McInerney, and her BFF circle includes Georgina Bloomberg and Nicky Hilton.
A passionate philanthropist for animals and the environment, Amanda has founded a number of charitable organizations including Friends of Finn, an initiative against puppy mills, and Well/Beings, a non-profit working at the intersection of animal welfare, environmental justice, and the climate crisis. She's also the co-founder of Maison De Mode, a luxury sustainable fashion platform.
In 2019, she wed Norwegian film director Joachim Rønning in true heiress fashion at - where else? - the landmark Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. In 2022, the couple welcomed their first son, Haakon Hearst Rønning, nicknamed "Hawk" for short.
