Humble Beginnings
Gustav grew up on the tiny island of Frøya off the coast of Norway and is "grateful" for his humble childhood. His father founded his fishing business in the early '90s, and though it's now grown to become the second largest producer of Atlantic salmon in the world, Gustav was raised in a "normal, down-to-earth family" without much money. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, he said, "I’m very happy about that... Those are values I’ll take with me."
