Legalize Marijuana
When you heard Colorado, California, Nevada, and Maine legalized marijuana for recreational use, along with five other states and DC, did you think, “Hey, what about New York?”
Cynthia Nixon thinks it’s time to make NY the 10th state on the list. For her, it’s also about equality for all.
“The reality is that for many white people, marijuana has been effectively legal for years. It’s time to legalize it for everyone else. We have to stop putting black people in prison for something that white people do with impunity.”
