For many artists, it’s essential to take some time to block out the world in order to focus on their creative energy. While many of us may seek solace in a Starbucks or quiet café, only the likes of Lady Gaga could have the privilege of hiding away in a $23 million New York City townhouse.
The West Village oasis at 53 Downing Street is currently for sale, but Gaga and her crew called the place home for a few weeks while she worked on her album in New York, according to the New York Post. With six floors, five bedrooms, and 6.5 baths, there was obviously plenty of room for a pop star posse and then some. Additionally, two lush rooftop terraces likely provided the singer with a much-needed escape from all the paparazzi. Click through for a look inside!
