Why jet off on a European castle excursion when you can just buy your own - right here in New York, no less? The gorgeous estate in Ossining, built in the 1920s, was home to Abercrombie and Fitch co-founder David Abercrombie and his family for a decade. It was dubbed "Elda," based on the initials of his four children. The 49.6 acre property boasts quite the storied history, so $3.7 mil sounds like a steal. Like all good things, though, there is a catch: Abercrombie's castle needs to be restored to its former glory, having spent quite a few years in a state of disrepair. Anyone up for the challenge, however, is in for a royal haven they can even commute to work to.
