The Butcher’s Daughter
Heather Tierney, who owns nightlife hot spots Apotheke and Pulqueria, recently opened a vegetarian café and juice bar that will get you back on track after over-indulging. The menu features dishes like a beet “tartare” and faux-cheese plates, plus plenty of fresh juices, including a “hangover killer” concoction.
The Soho space is light and airy, and features a communal table that looks like a butcher’s block, display cases full of produce, and meat hooks that hang from the ceiling to complete the ironic décor.
