If You Want To Eat Like A Caveman

Hu KitchenHave you joined the cult of Paleo yet? No? Give it a shot this year! The Paleo diet, also known as the Caveman diet, focuses on eating natural whole foods that were available in the pre-agriculture era. It is based on the belief that modern illnesses, such as obesity, diabetes, stroke, and cancer, have appeared with the intake of grain and other types of processed food. Eating like a caveman might sound really dull, but hold that judgement until you visit Hu Kitchen. Hu Kitchen, located near Union Square, is the go-to for New Yorkers who are on the Paleo diet. The store opened its doors in 2012 by Jessica Karp and John Brown. A majority of the offerings, ranging from juice and roasted chicken to chocolate truffles, are sugar-free, gluten-free, and raw vegan. Plus, they are all tasty and savory. Once you step your foot inside Hu Kitchen, you might find yourself starting the Paleo diet without even knowing it. Go HERE for more information. [Photo via @erinlevinenutrition]
