Russian Vodka Room

Russian Vodka Room
What is more Russian than a bottle of vodka at the dinner table--or breakfast table for that matter? The upscale Russian Vodka Room, or RVR, in Midtown is the kind of high-rolling, live-fast life that many of the upper-class Russians enjoy in Moscow or Saint Petersburg after the fall of the USSR. True to it's name, the place is home to hundreds of vodkas, and plenty of expensive caviar versions to go along with your shots. There mixology list has nine in-house recipes, which they call their "Sweet Russian Doggy" list. The best way to order like a Russian is to choose one of the carafes of vodka, a Russian way to warm up from the cold, and as a chaser, get one of the traditional drinking dishes like herring with potatoes, smoked trout, or eggplant caviar.
