Korea Palace
Korea PalaceLocated in Midtown, Korea Palace generally draws a business crowd and stays a bit quiet. However, several reviewers have considered it either the best Korean BBQ in the city or the best place to try Korean food for the first time. For a starter, try pajun, a Korean scallion pancake that is either made with seafood or kimchi. It used to be introduced as Korean pizza, and is sometimes cut that way. But, like in Korea, the large plate-sized pancake should be torn apart with chopsticks. It offers a solid base for the dinner. Instead of the traditional galbi or short ribs, try the pork belly marinated in a spicy Korean red pepper paste. And feel free to wash it down with a bottle of soju, a Korean liquor made from barley and rice. Korea Palace- 127 East 54th street, New York, NY10022 [Photo via]
