Flynn McGarry has done it again.
The former teen chef wunderkind turned annoyingly impressive young adult culinary force has just opened a wine bar offshoot of his popular Lower East Side tasting menu restaurant, Gem.
Located just around the corner from his Forsythe neighborhood spot, Gem Wine is a no-reservations spot that's sure to fill up fast each weekday night.
On the menu? Well, wine, obviously, with a selection of bottles from low-intervention wine makers. alongside a delectable assortment of no-nonsense small dishes. Enjoy a standard Bread, Cheese, Meat and Egg Plate, Smoked Mackerel With Artichokes and Green Olives, Leeks With Black Sesame and Egg Yolk, a Salad of Strawberries, Tomatoes and Vadouvan, and more.
Just don't forget to leave room for the Apricot Tart With Vanilla Ice Cream!
