Hop Shing
Chinatown is one of the neighborhoods that has been hit the hardest by Covid, which sadly means the demise of some of the neighborhoods decades-old restaurants, like coffee shop and dim sum spot Hop Shing. The longstanding fixture in the neighborhood provided not only a reliable meeting spot, but delicious puffy roast pork buns for only a couple of dollars! Not only will this spot be missed by my hangry self, but also my empty bank account. Le sigh.
