Modern minimalism meets Italian opulence at Principe, Soho's stylish new seafood eatery from chef Abram Bissell and restaurateur Robert Goldman.

Spanning two floors on the corner of West Broadway and Prince Street, the destination brings the drama with its interior design (courtesy of Studio Vogelsang), complementing concrete walls and natural wooden trusses with lavish Venetian glass chandeliers, velvet banquettes, and mother-of-pearl accents. Chic indeed.

Equally noteworthy, of course, is the menu conceived by chef Bissell. Inspired by coastal Italian cuisine, the lineup features raw bar favorites like oysters with Meyer lemon, snow crab claws, red prawns, and sea urchin, as well as decadent seafood pasta dishes and entrees including lobster risotto and olive-crusted branzino.

And be sure to save room for dessert. Pastry chef Rebecca Isbel's whimsical selection is a can't-miss, starring house-made frozen treats like coconut yogurt popsicles, key lime ice cream sandwiches, and gelato topped with olive oil and black pepper.
