The upscale decor sets the tone for a more modern take on Ethiopian food, in West Harlem of all places. Zoma's injera, a flatbread, is one of the best in the city, perfect for dipping in vegetarian or meat platters, served separately rather than on the bread. The Tibbs Wett or Dibs Wett, beef or chicken simmered in a stew, are classic dishes that work as either a great introduction to Ethiopian cuisine, or for someone returning. And not many places match it. If you want a bottle on the table, Tej, a traditional wine made from honey, is a must try.
