Corner Social
Opening earlier this year in short radius to a lot of competition, the Corner Social holds its own as a spot to meet up a drink or a bite in West Harlem. One the same street at
Chez Lucienne and around the corner from the speakeasy Ginny's Supper Club, the place still remains packed.
The Seared Long Island Duck Breast with a cannellini bean puree and an apple cider reduction is exceptional. The exposed brick, bare floors, and faux fireplace add to the charm. However, it's the drinks that keep the Corner Social busy. The Harlem Renaissance--a blend of Bourbon, apple juice, honey syrup, and fresh mint--is the highlight of the cocktail menu. The wine list is short, but the draft and bottled beer line is enough to keep this place filled up.
