Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr, the chef-restaurateurs behind Tribeca hot spot Frenchette, appear to have another instant hit on their hands.

And it's their biggest, and swankiest, venture yet.

Behold, Le Rock, the duo's grand French brasserie located at (and named for) Rockefeller Center.

Adding to the area's recent revival, the shiny new spot is already being hailed as the "Balthazar of Midtown," complete with a stylish, sceney crowd and seafood spreads worth bragging about. The comparison certainly makes sense, considering both Hanson and Nasr launched their careers at the Soho staple.

Of course, Le Rock is something all its own. Soaring ceilings and Art Deco glamour define the 130-seat space, highlighting the history and architecture of its location. There's a show-stopping bar, plenty of glittering bronze accents, and a dining room outfitted with terrazzo floors and green leather banquettes.

The atmosphere alone has the makings of a Sex and The City-era "It Restaurant." And from the looks of Resy, you might actually have to try bribing the maître d' Samantha Jones-style to get a peak dinner reservation.

Not that the time really matters when you're indulging in raw bar platters and classic French dishes like steak au poivre, rotisserie chicken, niçoise salad, and escargots (avec frites, naturellement). Pair it all with some natural wine or low-ABV cocktails, and be sure to save room for the pastry tower for dessert.

Fitting for foodies and fashionistas alike, Le Rock really checks all the boxes when it comes to a fancy night out - no wonder everyone is talking about it.
