From Bank to Bleecker, neighborhood favorite Nat's is on its way to building a colorful West Village empire.
The second outpost from Strange Bird Hospitality founder Natalie “Nat” Freihon is officially in full swing, and, should you find yourself closer to Bleecker and Sullivan Streets, there's no better spot for a funky night out.
The globally sourced menu features seafood staples like oysters, fluke crudo, and razor clam ceviche, along with a selection of entrees spanning Italy, France, and old school Americana: think fondue, gnocchi, Steak Diane, and a hefty cheeseburger. As for the cocktails? Cheeky twists on classic sips, shaken to perfection, as well as a must-try frozen mudslide and a few low-ABV options for the lightweights among us.
Of course, the interiors alone are worth the visit.
Inspired by Art Deco circa the 1980s, the whimsical space is decked out in bold patterns and colors galore, with decorative accents including a giant gumball machine, neon installation, and disco bathroom mural. So yeah, you're going to want to wear your best Insta-worthy outfit for the occasion.
