Galli LES
I know. When you think Easter brunch, you're probably not jumping to images of meatballs or chicken parm - the Italian comfort food staples that Lower East Side stop Galli is best known for. But still, for simple, straight forward breakfast usuals, like eggs benedict, waffles, and frittatas, their light, open, stone walled dining room acts a wonderful breakfast backdrop. For those not afraid to embrace the Italian in them at 10 am and get a little saucy, go for the Italian Toast, layered with grilled ciabatta prosciutto di parma, fried egg, and marinara sauce - a breakfast sandwich that's beyond bene.
